Reviving Dreamwidth

I have been reviewing my social media use and realising that more and more Facebook is causing me misery. It's always been bad for long form writing, and with the upcoming changes to the FB interface and the utter inability of people to remain civil with one another on that platform; I want to use it less.

Consequently, I plan to reactivate this account, and post more here and less there.

I post less and less on FB - mostly the experience makes me heartsick.

This is a big mood, and a large part of the reason for moving away. I realised that the one moment I engaged with FB on my holiday beyond posting "having a great time" updates, my mood took a massive tumble.
